Nuts have recognized health benefits. Here, we offer a quick overview of companies that focus on expertise to provide us with quality nut butters.
Nurture
Cédric Nieuviarts is the founder of Nurture and is the chef who conceives and creates all the recipes for Nurture butters. He is at the source of all production, from the selection of drupes to roasting. A former Michelin-starred French chef and inveterate globe-trotter, Cédric Nieuviarts draws inspiration, creativity, expertise, and the quintessence of the world's terroirs from his travels. Now settled in Montreal, he is the heart of Nurture.
Adapted production
All drupes at Nurture come from sustainable and organic farms from the best terroirs. They are roasted, dried, and made in squirrel paradise, Montreal. The temperature and cooking time vary depending on the type of nut or peanut.
The fragrant taste of roasted nuts
Roasting at Nurture is dry, which means oven baking. This manufacturing process preserves the crunchiness of the fruit and all its aromas.

Mille et Une Noix
An alliance of seductive flavors
Created in Sherbrooke by a team of enthusiasts, these creamy butters with gourmet flavor blends have been delighting Quebec families since 2014.
Founded by Sandra Nadeau, Mille et Une Noix offers peanut, almond, and hazelnut butters. Also, choco-hazelnut and Amlou spreads are some of the delights that Mille et Une Noix produces semi-artisanally in its Sherbrooke facilities.
To ensure the quality of the finished product, Sandra, involved at all levels of production, carefully selects her suppliers.
In addition to their nut butters, a range of sweet products like their pistachio and white chocolate butter, cashew coconut maple butter, hazelnut choco date butter, satisfy the taste buds of both young and old.

Cru Nature
Quebec-loved products with delicious flavors
Made with love and passion by Philippe Rhinan in Morin-Heights in the Laurentians, following a philosophy of respecting the nut as close to nature as possible, Cru Nature nut butters (also known as nut purees) are renowned for their incomparable flavor, extreme quality, and exceptional nutritional value.
Stone-ground nut butters that bring out the aromatic qualities of each nut
The taste of each seed or nut remains completely faithful to the nut it is made from; since the nuts are not heated and are stone-ground, they do not undergo oxidation changes.
Activated nuts for unique butters with multiple benefits
Furthermore, to maximize the power of the nuts' benefits, they are activated, meaning they are soaked to begin their germination process to increase their digestibility (for those who, for example, have digestion problems and irritable bowel syndrome).
